Nutraceutical products not only supplement a healthy diet but also assist in treating or preventing disease. It’s important to get most micronutrients through the food we consume daily, but sometimes that isn’t always possible depending on one’s lifestyle and health. So instead, I utilize professional-grade supplements to fill the nutritional gaps for an overall healthy diet. Understanding the digestion, absorption, transportation, and excretion of nutrients is required to suggest the right supplement for individual conditions.

I assess this through an exploratory process, taking all factors into consideration before determining the right dosage. It is key to figure out the underlying causes and what is going on with a patient’s body. I also discover what the patient is trying to achieve and what is holding them back. For example, someone who is trying to get pregnant might have different needs for nutritional supplements than somebody who is looking for overall optimal health.

There is no single supplement that is right for everybody which is why I administer customized solutions for each patient depending on their need. I closely monitor the patient and their bloodwork and look for any health changes to ensure the supplements are interacting positively with the body.

Nutraceutical supplements are not only good for body health but also mental health. Diet, supplements, and nutrients are an important, often unrealized, aspect of mental health. Nutraceutical products can be an important tool to fight depression, anxiety, and a range of other mental health concerns
